Product Overview
WACO® Red Hi-Load frame shoring — the system behind FWS’s Hi-Load shoring — is manufactured to the original Waco equipment specifications, including loading and safety requirements. Every load of tubing arrives from the mill certified to Waco specifications, each welded tube end is coped for a larger weld surface, and components are finished with a durable powder coat.
The lineup includes 4′ wide Hi-Load frames in 3′, 4′, 5′, and 6′ heights, matching 2′ wide frames in the same heights. Allowable working loads reach up to 17,500 lbs. per leg (2.5:1 safety factor) on a single-tier 4′ × 3′ frame with minimal screw extension, and are published through ten tiers — capacity decreases as tier count and screw jack extension increase.
A typical Hi-Load tower pairs cross-braced frames joined tier-to-tier with coupling pins, with screw jacks and base plates at the bottom and U-head screw jacks at the top carrying aluminum stringers and beams.
